Many of our municipalities are experiencing increasingly greater burdens when it comes to public records requests. There has been much discussion about potential legislation to address these growing concerns. As part of the dialogue, the question has arisen regarding what our membership charges for producing information pursuant to a public records request.
We are attempting to compile this information and we need to know what your fee schedule is for the dissemination of public records, including: making hard copies, printing/copying electronic communications, and creating CD’s or flash drives containing information.
