Flags are to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Tuesday, September 11, 2018

Tuesday, September 11th, will marks the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington DC.

It is a solemn occasion and a chance to honor those who died and the heroes who emerged that day.

On this day, it is appropriate to fly the American flag at half-staff from sunrise to sunset. Many Americans will be displaying other memorial flags and decorations at their homes and offices. The day will also be marked with memorial services and events throughout the country.
