LaMATS contracted with Lafayette based Emerg-Equip to supply dozens of essential police department vehicle gear such as lights, sirens, alarms and steel window guards for city police vehicles. In participation with our "piggyback" purchasing program, New Iberia agreed to serve as sponsor of a cooperative purchasing agreement, allowing other Louisiana local governments to receive the same low pricing on emergency equipment they secured through LaMATS.
