At its quarterly meeting on August 3, while at the LMA Convention in Monroe, LaMATS board members elected new officers for the 2026 - 2027 term. Baker Mayor Darnell Waites will serve as President, with Kaplan Mayor Mike Kloesel joining him as Vice President, and Ball Mayor Gail Wilking as Secretary/Treasurer.
