LaMATS’ Executive Director Cliff Palmer and Contracts Administrator Paul Holmes will lead a training session on the LaMATS Administered Cooperative Purchasing Commission (LACPC) at the 2026 Spring CLE Conference of the Louisiana City Attorneys Association on Friday, April 17, from 1 PM - 2 PM, in the Mayor Norman E. “Pete” Heine Executive Boardroom of the LMA building.

Launched in 2021, The LACPC is a participant-directed cooperative joint commission, interlocal agency, and a non-profit corporation created specifically for shared contract creation and costs administration between Louisiana local political subdivisions as authorized by the Local Services Law. The LACPC's operations are administered by the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Municipal Advisory and Technical Services Bureau, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the LMA.

We encourage all city attorneys to attend and obtain the presentation information needed by their purchasing staff to reduce the time and cost of procurement for municipalities. For information on how to register, visit www.lma.org, click on the Upcoming Events tab, and then "2026 LCAA Spring CLE Conference," or contact Executive Director Cliff Palmer at cpalmer@lamats.net.
