LaMATS and LACPC Launch Public Safety GPOs

Expanding its menu of discount purchasing contracts and other procurement services, the LaMATS-administered Cooperative Purchasing Commission known as LACPC will now serve Louisiana municipalities' Fire, Police and Public Safety Departments through dedicated Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
Enabled by legislation passed in ACT 663 of Louisiana's 2024 Regular Session, GPOs facilitate the cooperative purchasing of goods and the solicitation of bids and proposals from qualified vendors by two or more municipal public safety or police authorities.
To become a participating member of your new GPOs or to inquire about making a purchase as a member or affiliate of the LACPC, please visit lamats.net/publicsafety-gpo. There is no cost to your department and there is never an obligation to purchase by joining or making an inquiry.
See the upcoming April issue of the Louisiana Municipal Review for more information about this exciting new resource from LaMATS.
