The LaMATS and LACPC board of directors/commissioners recently convened their second quarter meeting to review programs and services. Additionally, Board President Mayor Michael Chauffe welcomed the newest board member, Meshaun Arcenaux, LMMC (as LMCA President), but sadly had to say goodbye to retiring Pineville Councilman Nathan Martin.
Councilman Martin has served in numerous leadership positions with the LMA over the years, including president of LaMATS, LMA District Vice President, and chairman of the annual Prayer Breakfast. He made a significant impact in everything he was involved in.
We wish he and his wife, Lori, and their family Godspeed and much continued happiness.
We invite you to read our story, "Called to Serve," highlighting Councilman Martin's many achievements, on pages 11-13 in this month's Louisiana Municipal Review.
