LAMATS Convention Workshops Proudly Introduce New Services

Mark your calendars, as you won’t want to miss these two important sessions showcasing LaMATS latest programs that will enhance revenue while saving municipalities time and money.

“Mayoral Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency” will be held Thursday, August 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Caldwell/Franklin Room. LaMATS Executive Director Cliff Palmer will join industry experts, Camille Manning- Broome, President and CEO of CPEX (The Center for Planning Excellence) and Ronald Newman, Senior Vice President of Distributed Power Solutions, Groundswell Community Power, to discuss successful solutions in residential energy efficiency programs.

“Occupational License Tax Under New Management” will be held Thursday, August 6, at 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Caldwell Franklin Room. LaMATS has partnered with the University of Lafayette’s Informatics Research Institute (IRI) to offer municipalities an affordable program that allows businesses to apply and pay online for occupational license tax. This easy to manage service will be presented by Micah Lacombe, Chief Technology Officer for IRI, Ull, and Veronica Arceneaux, LaMATS Consultant, assisted by Executive Director Cliff Palmer who will officially launch the new platform.
