The LPS Municipal Surplus Property Program is designed to assist Louisiana municipalities in streamlining the disposal process and ensuring they receive appropriate compensation for their unneeded assets, including construction equipment, vehicles, and other miscellaneous property through various online auction methods and listing categories. Currently, 81 participants sell property “on demand” through LaMATS’ online auction process. The program has returned over $2M to municipal sellers since 2021.
