Seeking Additional Ways to Secure Capital Outlay?

LaMATS capital outlay consultant James Purpera is advising municipalities of additional means to include your capital outlay requests in HB 2.

In a recent memo to municipal clients, Purpera writes: “If your Capital Outlay Requests are not taken care of in the Governor’s HB 2 Original Bill Recommendations, keep in mind that your Legislators will have opportunities to offer amendments as HB 2 travels through the Legislative committee process to add more projects/funding to HB 2 for you. You should continue to talk to your Legislators about your Capital Outlay needs.”

Purpera continues, “The Supplemental Appropriations Bill can also include funding for Non-State Entity Projects, however; the Original Bill version of this Bill, HB 460, does not include funding for any Non-State Entity. You can ask your Legislators to remember your projects if they have an opportunity to add anything to the Supplemental Appropriations Bill.”

For clarification of these opportunities or to receive a free initial consult on your future capital outlay projects, contact LaMATS teaming partner, James Purpera Governmental Consulting at 225-316-1346 or jpurpera@bellsouth.net.

Credit reporting errors can be so damaging because they often show up out of nowhere and catch people off guard. A small mistake can lead to denied loans, higher interest rates, or even trouble with employment checks. I came across this article that explains it well: https://consumerattorneys.com/article/credit-reporting-errors-strike-victims-when-they-least-expect-it. It breaks down how these errors happen and what steps you can take if it happens to you. Definitely worth a read for anyone who wants to stay prepared and protect their credit. Have others here run into issues like this?
