Woodworth's Lisa Aymond Joins LaMATS Board

LaMATS welcomed Woodworth Town Council Member and lifelong native Lisa Gunter Aymond to its Board of Directors in a unanimous vote of officers and members at its quarterly meeting on Wednesday, February 28.

Aymond, who also serves on the Dixie Softball Board and the Town of Woodworth Parks and Recreation Committee, cites her interests in families, especially seniors and children, as driving her call to public service.

Speaking in his role as LaMATS Board President, Woodworth Mayor David Butler praised Aymond's qualifications for the Board seat, which fills the position formerly held by the late Jimmy Williams.

"Lisa will be a great asset to this Board," said Butler. "She brings years of municipal leadership experience and a passion for Parks and Recreation, which our dearly departed friend would appreciate."
