The Town of Amite City recently contracted for garbage collection, thereby eliminating the need for town-owned garbage trucks and making available one operational 2018 Freightliner Model 10850 garbage truck (VIN# 1FVAG5FE1JHJU5958) with:
8.9 liter, V24 Diesel engine; power steering; automatic transmission; gray interior; air conditioning; AM/FM radio; Rapid Rail, Heil Dump Body; and several thousand dollars' worth of added cameras, allowing driver to document customers' carts in passing.
