Cliff Palmer Named to LAMP Advisory Board
LaMATS Executive Director, Cliff Palmer, has been appointed to serve on the President's Advisory Board of the nonprofit Louisiana Asset Management Pool, Inc. (LAMP), a statewide organization that enables local officials to pool and invest funds to earn competitive yields at lower fees, similar to those available to large institutional investors. Palmer's longtime leadership of LaMATS will bring the LAMP Board decades of first-hand experience in municipalities' unique financial needs and procedures. LaMATS Board President, Mayor Jennifer Vidrine, praised Palmer's appointment, saying, "Cliff's input at LAMP will be invaluable and contribute directly to the betterment of its service to our local government leaders.
