LaMATS would like to recognize the incredible dedication and long service of our very own Mary Joseph, as she ends one phase of her career with us and begins another in the New Year. As the beating heart of the LaMATS Insurance Premium Tax collection program, we're pleased to report that while MJ will officially retire at the end of the year, she will return to manage this vital statewide program as an independent consultant in January 2021. "There's simply no way we could operate our longest-running and most successful program without MJ's expertise and great reputation among program participants," said LaMATS Executive Director Cliff Palmer. "IPT is her baby, and there’s no doubt that it will continue to thrive under her genuine care and management in the coming year."

"On behalf of the entire LMA, I want to congratulate Mary Joseph on her ten years of service," said John Gallagher, LMA Executive Director. "We wish Mary the best in retirement and look forward to continuing to work with her on a part time basis."
