Mary on a Mission

A devout follower of Christ’s teachings since 1984, LaMATS IPT Program Manager Mary Joseph has supported the missionary organization OIKOS for eleven years.

This summer, from June 9-20, Joseph joined an OIKOS Ministries mission trip to the city of Kigali in the African nation of Rwanda. There she and her team provided direct aid, spiritual guidance and organizational support to the creation of “house churches,” a uniquely regional approach to sharing the Word of the Lord within small groups of friends and family.

“Christ taught us to go where the people need Him,” said Joseph.
