LaMATS Board Celebrates Member Gay Nell Pepper

In a meeting of its Board of Directors held today in Baton Rouge, LaMATS Board President Mayor Clarence Fields recognized fellow board member Mrs. Gay Nell Pepper, CMC, for her 30 years of service as Town Clerk of Famerville.

In presentation of a commemorative plaque to Mrs. Pepper, Mayor Fields said, “We thank Gay Nell both for her exemplary service on the LaMATS Board of Directors as well as the remarkable dedication to public service that her career represents.”

In following remarks, LaMATS Executive Director Cliff Palmer added, “Clerks are the backbone of service to municipalities across the state and are among our most powerful champions at LaMATS.”
